Our Story

About the Krewe

Forged in the spirit of Tampa's pirate heritage, the Tampa Bay Krewe Rugby Football Club has grown into a four-program club serving men, women, high schoolers, and youth across the Bay area.

Our History

The Tampa Bay Krewe RFC was founded by a small group of players who believed Tampa deserved a rugby club worthy of its rich pirate heritage. From those early scrums on borrowed fields, the Krewe has grown into one of the most established clubs in the Florida region.

Today, the club fields four distinct programs — Men's, Women's, High School, and Youth — competing across the Southeast. We've sent players to select sides, college programs, and national teams, and we've built a culture that lasts long after the final whistle.

Our Mission

To grow rugby in Tampa Bay by providing a welcoming, competitive home for players of every age — and to carry the spirit of the Krewe with pride, on the pitch and off.
